Dogue De Bordeaux

hi!!! I have a 7 week old dogue de bordeaux, i have him on royal canin dog food. but i had a question abot his coat or fur, i want him to have a very nice soft coat when he gets older, is there any good products out there, like shampoos, or conditioners, i have heard some things, like putting veggie oil in there dog food or an egg half cooked lik once a day for a shinnier coat, i was just curious. i wouldnt really start this for a few more months, hes still a bit young. also does any one know a good brush to use? the breeder i got him from uses horse brushes on her dogues and likes those, what have yall used?? they have short hair! any little tips would be great! one thing though, these dogues tend to have sensitie skin so i cant bathe him often!!! Thank you guys!!!

Dont bathe him too much.
IT will dry his coat.

Question by Dogue de Bordeaux <3: Question about dog exercising and growth!?
Alright, well I have a 10month old Dogue de Bordeaux. I walk her alot and she has a very muscular built. She is BEAUTIFUL. I kinda think shes a little on the short side.. Her father is very large and same with her mother. Is all this exercise slowing down her growth? Shes now 102lbs and short..

Am i doing something wrong? Her sister from a smaller mother, same age is taller than her?

There is nothing wrong with your dogs “build”. She has another 12-18 months of maturing to go anyway.

Question by Angelina C: questions about puppies and fleas?
ok, so i have a 7 weeks old pup, he will 8 weeks on the 18th. i have noticed a few fleas on him. not many. but i wanted to get some of the drops. but all i have seen that you can use on puppies are meant for puppies 6 months and older. for dogs under 15lbs. es under that, about 12 or so. he is a dogue de bordeaux. i dont want him to have fleas, but is there anything young enough for him? do i just do a flea bath,or a collar? hat is best?? thank you guys!!!

All you can do is give him a bath at this point. Dawn dish soap kills fleas immediately
